We tailor in-person and virtual internships for hosts ensuring that it's right for your budget and busy schedule. We'll match your organization with a student from foster care who is studying or aspiring to work in your industry. These internship experiences are critical in providing disadvantaged foster youth with the opportunity to expand their network, build their resume and skills, and inspire them to remain focused on their studies and dreams for a powerful future.

Paid summer internships are valuable opportunities for our youth to meet people from the business world and gain work experience that aligns with their career goals. Our employers benefit from getting to know and work with passionate foster youth who may become their next loyal, all-star employee!
Over the past four years, we've placed more than 200 high school and college interns, with employers and students reporting satisfaction rates of 85% and above.
We prepare them to roll right in.
Our college interns arrive to the workplace just as prepared as any other youth on their first internship day. In addition, Pivotal is the employer of record and manages all of the administrative and payroll functions, so our partners can focus on the internship projects, schedules, and relationship building.
In 2020 we connected 15 Pivotal Scholars to Internships. In 2021 our goal is to return to our 2019 numbers of at least 50 summer internships.
